Grupa firm, w skład której wchodzą DMG MORI, Dürr AG, Software AG, ZEISS Group oraz ASM Pacific, stworzyła sojusz strategiczny ADAMOS, którego celem jest opracowanie nowego standardu wymiany danych dla branży maszynowej. Ma on bazować na otwartej platformie IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).

Wymienione firmy utworzyły spółkę ADAptive Manufacturing Open Solutions, która ma rozwijać i udostępniać również aplikacje dla firm OEM oraz produkcyjnych. Te ostatnie będą dostępne od październiku tego roku w ramach ADAMOS App Factory Alliance, zaś od początku 2018 będą też dostępne w chmurze.
